Online Tuition

We offer One to One online tuition over Zoom and Skype.

We use multiple camera angles so we can demonstrate everything clearly. Split screens and multiple picture in picture shots make it easy to see how you can improve your guitar skills. You'll feel like our teachers are in the room with you.

Each student has their very own cloud folder, where all documents and scores can be kept for easy access.

We don't expect our students to be computer experts, so if need be, we can deliver everything in the "stream". No unnecessary clicking which is perfect for the younger learner.

It is also possible for Students to use multiple devices rather than being fighting for screen space on a single device.

Some students prefer to use their phones to connect to the chat, whilst simultaneously using an iPad or Tablet to view music scores or info sheets. Ultimately our students can set up however they feel most comfortable. And if you have the devices, but are not sure how to set it up yourself, we are happy to help guide you through.

We are able to make "Mark Up Notes" and additional pointers in near realtime on student documents. It's just like using a pen on paper in a face to face visit, and you don't need to install any fancy software to do it.

Saphrox Studios offer high end, professional web delivered tuition, that sets us apart from many other online tutors. We make it so easy that young children can use our online methods too.

Lessons are available in 30, 45 & 60 minute formats and can be paid via PayPal and Bank Transfer.

We will do our best to accommodate your time zone, and offer tuition to the same standard and quality you would expect in a face to face meet.

Lessons must be paid in advance.

Students must be prepaired with their own guitar tuner.

Zoom & Skype

Both Zoom an Skype are free voice-over IP services. Although we prefer to use Zoom as it offers better audio quality and suffers less lag we are happy to also deliver our lessons via Skype.

We have are aware that Facetime is also very popular, and will use it a last resort, but we are unable to deliver a full experience due to the limitations of the FaceTime service.
